Line bred mindanaos.  This is my first clutch of line breed mindanaos.  We have some projects in the works.  Aberrant pattern, red phase. But these ones are high contrast with side banding, and some aberrant back patterns.

Mindanao is probably the most underrated locality.  They dont have the colors of ternates or halmaheras but they do bring a unique set of traits to the table.  Their pattern outlining and color spectrum are two important ones.  Their pattern structure of spaced out back diamonds and their shape are two more.

Those traits combined have allowed me to make a lot of great looking retics. 

Ternates are a lot more popular now.  Halmaheras seem to be getting the most attention than any other locality.  But mindanaos havent yet made it to the top of the list for localities.  I think thats about to change. 

With more breeders than ever looking for ways to make their production standout, mindanaos will soon be on the list of options for a solution to that problem.
