MOROTAI ISLAND RETICS
Unfortunately there is very little information on these retics, or any other reptiles from there.

Morotai island retics have the northern maluku look. The only pic i have is the one at the top. Im working on getting more, and will add them as soon as i have them. From the handful of pics iv seen, they clearly have the characteristics of other retics from that region of Indonesia. The side banding, head shape, body type, and high back diamond count. Out side of that we dont know much.
Interestingly the Scrub pythons on Morotai dont seem not to take after the ones on Halmahera.

Morotai is a decent size island, around 700 square miles. The island also has wild boars, so there is a potential for the retics to get a decent size. But chances are the retics on Morotai probably average in the that 8ft to 14ft midsize range.
There is a small island off the west coast of Morotai, Rao or Bau island. I dont know if retics are on that island but theres a good chance. If Rao does have retics they are probably in the super dwarf to smaller dwarf size range.
