LUZON ISLAND RETICULATED PYTHONS
If i could have any wc retics i wanted i think Luzon would be the top of the list. Luzon is a very large island around 40 thousands square miles. The amount of variation seen in luzon retics is by far the most extreme of all the locality retics iv researched. Above is one of the most famous reticulated python pictures there is. If youre not familiar with this picture, its of two members of the agta tribe that live on luzon ,with what is clearly a 20ft plus retic that they killed. In an article written about the Agta tribe, is was said that around 25% of the men have been attacked by large retics. Luzon is one of the few places where the retics get big enough to eat people. Heres a link to the article.
In my opinion luzon retics are the nicest looking. Everything about their pattern and color is next level. Im mixing different traits from different localities to try and create some looks that iv seen luzons have.
Do to the size and shape of Luzon island its safe to say that there are isolated populations of retics evolving in their own way. This makes it impossible to make any blanket statements about them, other than they look better than just about all other retics. We dont have any data on luzons average adult sizes other than we know in some regions they get 20ft plus and see humans as food.
Theres most likely only small pockets of populations of large genetics on luzon. Similar to how you here people from indo claiming that the palopo region in sulawesi is where the giant retics are. So its probably the case that most of the retics on luzon stay in the mid to mid/large range, and only certain populations are getting gigantic.

Luzons look like they took all the best traits for color an pattern and put them together. Whats the chances that they would evolve to have the best colors and patterns. As subjective as it may be, its hard to argue that isnt the case.
